    This author seeks not so much collaboration as some scheduling support. I like to keep up with what is going on in the world (a perennial journalist at heart), though I have been tending toward essays, which I write at https://medium.com/@djmathews , an interesting site with a lot of different viewpoints if you are at all interested. (Sometimes other media don’t tell the whole story on things.)

     The photo above shows me at the Tennessee Aquarium in Chattanooga. The city has a funny sounding name, originally Cherokee, I believe. That is a “photo” of a river otter I am standing next to, but there are live ones in the “riverways” building, one of two buildings almost on top of the Tennessee River that flows by the city. Travel and writing about travel can be fun, and I would like to do that in the near future, even though my next writing projects relate to education and the environment.
